Who is this Bundy6Pak? Oh yeah, it's Bekee, James, Dean, Kenadee, Benjamin and Logan. Has it really been since the year 2009 since our last post? I blame the economy. We are still alive and kicking. Two days before Christmas 2010, our beloved CEO gleefully announced that he was selling the company to the adversary (no, not satan, but close). As a result of the sale, all corporate employees were going to be terminated. The really wonderful thing about that was that Bekee and I both worked for the corporate office which meant we were both going to lose our jobs at nearly the same time. Merry Christmas!

Well, 6 months later, I am gainfully employed and Bekee was able to concentrate on becoming QuickBooks Pro Certified. The kids regularly take advantage of mom being home full time again which Bekee finds both rewarding and exhausting.

Grandpa and Grandma Bundy recently purchased a small 4 passenger airplane and so we have been blessed to have them come and visit a bit more frequently. The kids love their grandparents to death (sometimes almost literally) and can't wait until the next visit. Kenadee has even already been up in the plane. She loved and hated it all at the same time. Of course Kenadee said I had to ride along and it wasn't as bad as I remember. But it was a quick up and around and down trip to which I was very grateful.

An apple a day....

An apple a day keeps James busy! Ha-ha, it's not what you're thinking. Ben loves to flush things down the potty and this time it was a whole apple. I was gathering a load of laundry in my room when I hear the toilet flush in my bathroom. Out from the master bath comes Ben. I asked him what did he do, hoping he'll just say he just went potty, but nope. He says, "I just flush a apple." I said, "You what!!" He says, "Its just a apple, gee-sshh." I went into the bathroom and sure enough the toilet was clogged. I plunged, and plunged, and plunged some more, but had no luck unclogging it. Luckily it got stuck in the p-trap (or "pee-trap" for all those begging for that one) of the toilet itself. James still ended up having to remove the toilet. He had it turned upside down in the tub at one point and was able retrieve the apple by using a wire hanger. He had to snake the hanger from the bottom of the toilet into the apple and push the apple back up through into the bowl. He was not very happy, but not at all suprised or shocked when I told him what Ben had done. Sad when things like this start to feel like every-day-routine-activities. It's a good thing that James is pretty handy! Thanks for the wire hanger Ronni, we'll make sure to return it to you...kidding!

Two of our favorite people have birthdays just days apart-Ronni and Granma B! We helped Ronni celebrate her birthday by dining out at On the Border, yum. It was all grown-ups. Mom and John came and we got ot meet his daughter-in-law, Leah and her daughter and son. John's daughter Wendy and her two daughter came also. It was lot's of fun......and it's always fun to dine out without the kids.

Although we didn't get to see Granma B for her birthday, we couldn't let it go un-celebrated. We love you and miss you Granma B :). We saved you a piece, but you better hurry and come and get it. We're not too sure how long it'll last.

Bikes

The summer heat has really kicked in. We've been up to 115, so far. So we knew it was time to go bike shopping. While everyone is taking cover inside to escape the heat, the bike sale signs are popping up everywhere. It's the perfect time to get really nice bikes at the Wal-Mart prices. The kids all love their bikes. We went to Bikes Direct and we got them each custom fitted and framed so that the bikes adjusts as the kids grow. I think Ben is the most excited about his. His is a tandom that hooks onto James'. He like to stand on the pedals and coast along. He says, "Yahoooo!" and then Ben's mocking bird (Logan) says, "Yahooo!" from his seat that is attached to my bike.

Logan in his seat. He loves it. There's Dean on his in the background. James had just got the seat together and is testing it out on my bike. I didn't want to be the one to test it first with LoLo in it..in case it fell off. I was a bit scared of that happening at first, but we've been riding all over the neighborhood and I'm over it now. It's hot here, but we love the sun and are having fun!

Congratulations to Mom and John! It was a really nice wedding. Don't they look so cute together and Mom looked so beautiful!

Ronni and I had lots of fun driving up to STG and even stopped in Vegas to meet up with our brothers and eat. I couldn't resist having my pic taken with the Sponge to txt the kids at home. The drive home was no picnic, at first, but totally worth it. After some minor car touble (btw..the Bundy's rock!) Ronni and I got Paul all to ourselves and had fun hanging out with the big bro for awhile until we parted ways in Laughlin. He headed home to Texas and we headed back to Az. It was great getting to meet John's family and it was so fun seeing everyone again. Love playing Fill-OR-Bust (I am sure Rob cheated some how J/K....maybe...need a re-match ;-) Can't wait to see ya'll again soon!

So here's what we've up to:

1 Award Ceremony:

Dean was awarded the Gilbert Golden Scholar Award. A few days before the ceremony he came up and told me, "Oh ya, I have this thing and was given a letter by the Principal and Super." As Dean handed me the letter all I could think was he accidently broke something and we have to pay for it. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a letter of award instead of a bill$.

1 Art Exhibit:

The week before Kena had her very first Art Exhibit. She was so excited and so were we. She loves to make and create things with

her hands and she is quite good at it. It was a fun evening out as

we toured the gallery to all the cool things, but best of all was the Kena wall. The 3D butterfly is my Fav.

1 Black Eye:

Logan smacked his eye on a chair.......good thing we were in the sitting room at the Doc office! The same day we went shopping and bought some door locks. One for the front, garage, and sliding glass door. NOT to keep people out, BUT to keep Ben and LoLo in. Our fourth day in the new house we were awaken to a loud knock on the door. It was nearly 6am and I thought, "How rude!" But to my amazement Ben and Logan had gotten up and decided to go out and play.

1 New table and couch set (I'm sure, not for long): Ben and Logan are already carving their initials into the table and trying to hide everything in the couches.

1 Fun Memorial Day:
It was neat to see Dean take such pride in putting up and taking down flags.
He was very excited to participate in this activity. James had the day off and so we all hung out at the pool too.

1 New Fridge:

So with the house came an appliance package. So this our first fridge ever that's our very own we are very excited. It even has ice and water on the door. Now if we could figure out how to regulate the temperature to keep everything from freezing (yes, those eggs are frozen) then we'll be more than excited, we'll be overjoyed!

1 Punctured hot water line:

So before we moved in we were told that some settling may occur, and it did, and we were to call immediatley for any tiny minuscule thing. We had a sheet rock nail pop through and show itself. A week or so went by and we decided we'd just have James pull it out and put a screw there and calk over it. The sheetrock nail was however nailed into our hot water line. So when James pulled it out, water came out and shot clear across the room. It ran down the opposite wall, windows, and blinds. Home warrenty fellows came out in a flash and it was fixed the same day.

1 Root Canal, still in the works:

I had a root canal done and am going back to have a porcelan put in. I think I may only have a few original teeth left. Sad, each time I got pregnant I lost a couple. They just didn't have a fighting chance.

Oh, and of course...we are at the pool in our community everyday.

We got lucky and was able to pick a lot 3 doors from the pool. Of course our apartment years have taught us well. We head to the pool at 8:30am and stay until 10:30-11am. This way it may be only 98 degrees (not scortching hot) and we have the pool all to ourselves. :)

Tooth Fairy....now broke!

Kena went to the dentist and had 5 extractions Wednesday morning. She was out like a light the whole day. It has been somewhat of a quiet week :)

Update! Update!

We've been up to no good! Just kidding. A few things have happend since Christmas. LoLo turned 2 in Jan. The Bundy fam came and spent some time here in Mesa and we all met up at the zoo. it was fun to see everyone. James has finally graduated from the UOP with a BSIT. YEAH!! Its been a long 4 years, but soo worth it. Dean turns 12 this coming Wed. and Kena turns 10 towards the end of the month. We'll also close on our house in 30 days...Yeah again! Also, James and I got a gym membership and its been so fun to go together. We normally go and do stairs, treadmill, or cycling. But once we tried a cardio class and about laughed ourselves silly because neither one of us could figure out how to follow along :)

Its been beatiful here. Its up to 80 degrees now and we're all getting quite anxious for it to start getting HOT! We've grown to love the sun (and being in the pool everday). We're planning on hiking up the infamous Camel Back mountain (hill) here in Pheonix. When we do I'll post some pics. Here's some pics fun:

Pretty in Pink

We headed to St. George, Utah for the Fall holiday break and for the baby blessing of Tabitha Nichols (My sister Ronni's baby girl). So north we drove for family and fun and then headed south for sunny skies and warm weather. And when our adventure was all over, we found that we didn't come home empty handed, we brought home pink eye!

These pics are of James and I. This is towards the end. We got some drops for everyone in the family. You should of seen the giggle, yet sympathetic look of our family doc as our whole family sat in her office. If anyone has ever had pink eye they know how terribly painful it is. It is like having sand rubbed in your eyes...constantly. Your eyes hurt, burn, itch, and are very mucusy (like a runny nose)...hence the waiting to take a pic of our eyes. The little wee ones have been up at all hours during the night for the past few nights. They wake up with eyes hurting, we'd wash their eyes out, give 'em some Tylenol, and hoped they fall back asleep.

We were told that pink eye is a bacteria and it spreads very quickly so we needed to Lysol all the babies toys, light switches, door knobs, basically anything waist down (everyday). Also, change everyones pillow cases every night and wash everything in hot water. So we have been very busy doing all this everyday for the last 7 days. The words "sick and tired" have taken on a whole new meaning to us this past week.

This is a shout out to my mom. She is so awesome! She'll be down visiting for Christmas and we can't wait to see her! The kids are looking forward to playing the Wii (even if Gramma always wins).

When Gramma came to visit she loved showing the kids how computer savvy she was. Here Kena and Gramma are playing a game and Gramma is winning! We love ya!

I normally make carmel apples this time of year for the kids to eat and decorate, but this year Kena made them. She melted the carmel, dipped the apples, and decorated. It's a good feeling seeing your kids grow-up! I am so thankful to have such good kids. Dean and Kena have really grown into wonderful little people. They are a big help to me around the house and especially with the Ben and LoLo. We hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving. We love you all!

Ginger Bread Houses

Kena's chior group (SSE) sang at the Superstition Springs Community Hall. They did such an awesome job. They sang a song that was a medley of all the military songs. The girls would hold up signs from every branch and those persons from the audiance that were in each branch would stand up and sing their song. It was really neat to see how many served and our great country in one way or another...shout-out to my bro's Paul, Rob, and Rich and to Peter Hirschi, Thank you!!

We had such fun this year! We've decided to start some of our very own family traditions. For example for 4th of July we make homemade icecream and for Halloween this year we stayed up all night watching movies, eating candy, and playing games. We also let the kids paint the windows, which is traditon we started when Dean and Kena we're little. Wait 'till you see our christmas windows. The kids have such fun!

The fifth grade band had thier first concert of the year. They were surprisingly good....all the parents were amazed (they must of based their expectations off the sound of their child's practicing noise too). The fifth grade are being taught by a student teacher from ASU, Mr Mabry. He has some new teaching tactics that has the kids up and playing much faster. The actual band teacher, Mr Banon, led the sixth grade band that also played, and although they were good too, the fifth grade really shinned and everyone noticed.

So LoLo finally dozed off for a nap and it was just Ben and me. I thought I'd better jump in the shower while the littlest one was down. I turned the TV on in my room so Ben could watch cartoons on my bed while I showered. I thought, "I'll just jump in, rinse off, and jump right out".....I mean, what mayhem could he possibly cause in 5 minutes?

It's good to be home. We loved seeing everyone at the reunion in St. George! It was a blast, but a killer drive there and home. I asked the kids the best part and they couldn't decide between playing at the park and catching frogs or the swimming. Either way they loved it. The best part for me was seeing my mom catch the ball during the kickball game and seeing her go down the hydro-tube at the pool!

Everyday surprises

Don't you just love all the little clues that your kids leave behind to let you know how much they love you! This week Dean left orange colored consturction paper in his shorts pockets (kaki's) so that when I washed them they came out and went right back in. LoLo puts anything and everything anywhere so everything is nowhere to be found....unless you can coax him into getting it. While LoLo was in the bath Ben came in and dumped a whole bag of Goldfish Cheese crackers in the tub. I never saw it coming! I swear he is like a Houdini....he can also make pens and markers appear out of thin air. Kena likes to leave cute loving notes around the house. Last after dinner (we had chili dogs) it was clean-up time and this is what Ben left for me!

Ronni and I, and the gang, went out to lunch where LoLo got a show (along with everyone else). That's how it ususally is. And though it's the norm for us, it is always fun to see how others react to our talented trio. They sing, dance, and run around like wild animals (mostly Ben on that last one). They can also go ruff, pop, bonk, boink, g-r-r-r, and moo....and moo and moo and moo. Oh, and moo.

This year we went trunk-or-treating with Ronni's family. Trunk-or-treating is where everyone in the ward parks in the chapel parking lot and opens their trunk (all decorated) and the kids go around the parking lot trick-or-treating, thus being called trunk-or-treating. Her ward had a fall festival before the trunk-or-treating so there was food, games, and home made rootbeer. We all had fun.

We all had lot's of fun watching Dean and the rest of the scouts race their boats. James helped Dean and I was in the opening skit. Kena even got to make a boat. LoLo loved the excitement and Red, well he was a grump - nothing new.

Never really thought too much of this site until now. You can make your own movie, as you have all seen.....He-he. If you'd like to view the ones we've done check out our web page. Also, there are new pics of the little boys. We are especially proud of Kena's. Kena learned how to use the camera awhile ago and took a bunch of pics of herself posing while making funny faces. She was all too happy to see a movie of herself. We also love watching Rob and Christee. Christee is so cute!!

Here we are. We are located on the right bottom. The pool and playground are what you'd call our front yard. The weather has finally cooled down to the 90's. So we've been hanging outside a lot (with sunscreen). Dean, Kena, & Red are splashers and then there's LoLo who snuggles in and loves to relax and float around until he falls asleep.

A night at the movies

There's this cool theater that has statues and wax figures of lots of movie characters. It's our fav movie theater because it's so fun for the kids.

There is an arcade, diner, and muppet band that plays and the best part is it's only a 2$ show! So here are some pis from our camera phone.
